What will happen at the initial consultation?
I will give you a detailed explanation of my services and will discuss
your pets needs, habits, and schedules. I will also give both you
and your pets the opportunity to get to know me better. There is
no cost to you for a consultation, and no obligation. Please, only
serious inquires.

What
animals do I care for?
I care for most small domestic animals; dogs, cats, birds, and
fish. We will discuss other small animals and services you
may need.

Can I
contact you while I'm away?
Please feel free to contact me as much as you like, I
actually encourage this so that you have no anxiety on your trip
about your pets. I know what it feels like to be worried
about what is happening at home and how the "babies"
are doing. I will keep a running log of daily visits for
you.

What happens if I can't return on the date I'm supposed to?
I understand that things don't always go as planned, but don't worry!
I will continue to provide service until you notify me that you have
returned home. I do ask though, that you give me as much advance
notice as possible.

Will
anyone else be caring for my pets while I'm away?
No. For the comfort and well being of your pets, it is
best to have just one person providing their care and I work
alone. Only in an emergency situation will someone else
come in to care for your pets.

What
happens if my pet becomes ill or injured?
Your pets well being is the most important thing to me. In
the event of an emergency, I will take your pet to the vet of
your choice, or if necessary, to the closest vet available.
I will stay with your pet until the appropriate action is taken.
We will discuss this plan at the consultation.

What
is your plan if a natural disaster or personal emergency would
happen to occur?
As we know, sometimes the unthinkable can happen (hurricanes,
snow, ice, etc.). At the consultation, we will discuss a
back up plan to handle these situations, should they occur.
You will be able to go away with total peace of mind that your
pets are being well taken care of in any situation.

Is it
all right to have you share sitting duties with our
friends/family/neighbor?
I'm sorry, but liability reasons do not allow for that.

Other sitters charge extra for holidays, what is your policy?
I do not charge extra for my services on the holidays. However, I
do require a deposit during these times that will be non-refundable if
canceled less than 72 hrs. prior to the first visit.

What
if I need your services at the last minute?
Once we have our initial consultation, I will try to accommodate
you, rest assured. It is always easier to do that if I
have your key on file.
